The Maple Street Ramblers are a six piece traditional jazz band (trumpet, clarinet/sax, trombone, banjo/guitar, bass and keyboard).
We are a group of semi-pro musicians who've been entertaining audiences in Twin Cities (Minneapolis, St. Paul) area for several years with our versions of that old (and new) New Orleans Jazz music called Dixieland.
We play Dixieland standards (When The Saints Come Marching In, Bill Bailey Won't You Please Come Home, etc.), Sing-a-long tunes (When You're Smiling, Five Foot Two, etc.), Gospel Music (This Little Light Of Mine, etc.) and other happy music of 20's, 30's and 40's. We also like to add swing, dance, jazz, gospel and polka music for seasoning. And if you want all dance music or all gospel we play it! We enjoy tailoring our programs to fit your tastes! You name it, we play it!,
